Upcoming Spring Workshops

The IMA will be hosting a two-month thematic program on Modeling, Stochastic Control, Optimization, and Related Applications in May and June 2018. This program will bring together researchers from multi-disciplinary communities in applied mathematics, applied probability, engineering, biology, ecology, and networked science to review and update recent progress in several research areas over four workshops:

Special Workshops

In addition to the thematic program on Modeling, Stochastic Control, Optimization, and Related Applications, the IMA will be hosting two special workshops in May.

The Bridging Statistics and Sheaves workshop, held May 21-25, will address the relevance of sheaves and cosheaves on problems related to topological data analysis and topological signal processing.

The Workshop for Women in Mathematical Biology, held May 29-31, will bring together women graduate students, postdocs, and faculty to share current research developments and facilitate discussion of emerging topics in mathematical biology.
