Jasmine Foo, a mathematics professor at the University of Minnesota School of Mathematics since 2011, joined the IMA as associate director in August 2019. Her primary research interests are in mathematical biology and probability theory. More specifically, she is interested in stochastic models of cancer evolution, drug resistance, and personalized medicine.
