Optical Imaging via Inverse Scattering
Inverse scattering problems arise in many application areas and have been at the center of the studies of applied inverse problems. Models of optical imaging may be analyzed and simulated by inverse scattering. In this talk, the speaker will present recent progress on solving inverse scattering problems by multiple frequency data. Both mathematically and computationally, we will demonstrate that frequency (spectral) information is essential for stable reconstructions in inverse scattering problems. Related topics will also be highlighted.
