The Industrial Mathematics Residency serves as an onsite continuation of the projects that came from the Industrial Mathematics Workshop and Clinic held in summer 2017. This informal program will (1) bring together project group participants from both academia and industry to reflect on progress so far and devise plans for the following year; (2) identify issues that may be impeding progress on the projects and consider mitigation strategies; (3) plan a follow-up workshop and projects showcase for summer 2019; and (4) plan the second iteration of the program starting in 2019, building upon the lessons learned from the first iteration.
