Chemotaxis-Equations and Approximating Models

In this talk several models, like e.g. stochastic many particle systems, random walks and correlated random walks are considered, which approximate Chemotaxis-systems. These models are comparatively discussed with respect to crucial parameters for pattern formation as there are, the turning frequencies of the cells, their chemotactic sensitivity, and the production and loss rate of the chemical. The main focus will be based upon aggregation and blowup.
