My research interest is in Mathematical Biology and Partial Differential Equations, with a focus on the applications of kinetic models and drift-diffusion equations in chemotaxis and cell movement in tissues. Currently I am working on the multi-scale modeling of chemotaxis through the moment closure approach to identity the transitions from microscopic models to macroscopic models and vice versa form the energy point of view. Also I am interested in studying the existence and stability of traveling waves for both micro and macro models of chemoatxs from which we can find the quantitative relationship between micro and macro models . I also plan to develop the chemotaxis model with multiple chemical signals and establish the qualitative properties and numerical patterns of the resulting models.
