I first tried nowlending.com, who offer great quotes on their site and say they'll get back to you 2-12 hours afer you fill in their lengthy application. That was last friday before noon. It is now tuesday, 8am, and still now word by phone or e-mail. I also called them twice and left them two messages. I actually called them and spoke to a person before filling out the application. She said that I needed to fill out the application before anything could be done. So far, I recommend to STAY AWAY FROM NOWLENDING.COM. In fact, I finally got through to them, when the rate was up 3/4 of a point. They said that I didn't complete a line on the application. I received a letter last Saturday stating the same thing. Unbelievable. A web-based company whos had my e-mail address and phone number using snail mail and letting me know, after NINE DAYS, that I didn't complete a line of the application.

I next tried Cityloans.com, who say that four loan sources will get in touch with you. They say this will happen within two business days. It's been FIVE and no call.

With rates having jumped up in the last week (11/12-11/16/01), I'm trying to get a better for for what's out there so when rates do go back down I'm prepared. Here is a link to ditech.com who have TV commercials right now. Here is a link to MortgageSelect.com.
