Getting Around. The Metro Transit System

The Guthrie. A nice walk from campus. Look around the building, it's beautiful inside! Also,
When We Are Married, plays @ 7:30pm MOST nights (1pm Sat 18th and 25th matinee shows)

The Fringe Festival. Is great if you like theater (or want to learn how). A good way to celebrate after you turn in your final reports. There are 4 other small theaters up the street from The Cedar (next entry), too...

The Cedar. A short walk from campus for music. Nice East African food nearby.

The Mill City Museum. Easy walk, next to the Guthrie. Closes @ 5 pm.

A nice movie theater. Across the river from the Guthrie and Mill City Museum. Walkable.

Baseball Games. A longer walk, or you can take the light rail.

The Walker Art Museum

Minneapolis Institute of Arts

Fort Snelling. For hiking and/or some history. You can take the light rail and then walk in (if you can handle a little adventure).

Canoeing on one of the lakes can be fun. For hiking and/or some history.

An Excuse to go downtown.
