Math 1272 Calculus II Section 040: Final Exam information
The final exam will be written Friday December 14, 1:30pm (room TBA). The exam will be common to all sections of Math1272 this semester, and will cover material from the entirety of the course.
The following are provided as preparatory materials for the exam. You are also encouraged to review your own and the posted lecture notes, homework solutions, midterm solutions, etc.
Professor Ames will hold his usual office hours (Mon 1-2 5-6, Tues 11-12) the week of the final exam, as well as additional office hours Wed 1-3, Thurs 2-4 and Fri 9-11. The TAs will hold their usual office hours the week of the final exam as well. Meetings outside of office hours can be arranged via email. You may access past exams using the following procedure. 1. Go to: http://math.lib.umn.edu 2. Click on "Sample Course Finals" link (in red) 3. Type in "math" or "math1272" & hit "Enter" or click "Search" 4. Use arrows to move to page 2, 3, or 4 if your course is not listed on the first page 5. Click on course number link in the line with your lecturer's name ("Ames") 6. Use "math1272" as password (use all lower case letters, no spaces, no quotes marks) 7. Click on the link for one or more of the sample final exams These are the ONLY sample final exams are made available to use for review questions and/or study samples.
Midterms from the other sections
The three midterms for the other two sections of the course are provided below. A number of questions from these midterms (and from the midterms for our section) will appear as problems on the final exam.

If you have 2 exams scheduled for Dec 14, 1:30-4:30, or 3 exams scheduled on Dec 14 contact Prof Ames immediately to arrange a makeup exam to correct this conflict.
