This informal seminar will focus on image processing techniques implicit in image reconstruction for Variational/PDE based inverse problems. Topics may include but are not limited to: wavelet reconstruction, level set regularization methods, trust region methods, image segmentation. Possible application areas include: optical tomography, electric impedence tomography, elastography.
