About Me
My research is described on the other pages.  Here are some random, more personal things.

I like to go to these sites:
  1.  Aldaily for news
  2.  Fresh Air for interviews
  3.  Marginal Revolution for random thoughts
  4.  Homestarrunner for silly cartoons

I’m attempting to keep track (in spreadsheet form) of all the cool places and bands I find in Minneapolis.  It’s a google spreadsheet and I’ve had help from some friends.  If you’d like to contribute, drop me a line!

For some reason, the downtown bus map by provided Minneapolis MetroTransit is completely useless.  Thus, I’ve started my own, here.

Here is a blog that I write in every once in a while.

I’ve been taking Alexander Technique lessons since 2003 and it’s helped improve my posture a lot.  I still have a ways to go.

If you’re in Boston and want a really good vegetarian lunch in a peaceful Buddhist temple, you should go here.  It is my favorite restaurant ever.

I have a pretty good silly putty collection: .  It is featured in a French book titled “Piles non Requises” (Batteries not Required).  The book is designed for children who don’t like to read.

I have a guitar I try to play.  Sometimes, when I learn a new song, the online tabs aren’t good enough for me and so I go nuts and notate the song in excel.  This takes forever, and hence I haven’t done that many, but I wanted to throw them out there in case anyone could use ‘em.
  1.  Big Rock Candy Mountain by Harry McClintock
  2.  The Boxer by Simon and Garfunkel

Here’s a list of guitar tabs I’ve compiled and occasionally written myself or corrected when they were almost right.  If you’re just getting started with guitar, I highly recommend the White Stripes.

I’m pretty lazy when it comes to cooking, but there are a few recipes I really like.  They don’t take too much time and are pretty good.
  1.  Lean ‘n Green Smoothie - (from Trina)
  2.  Salmon Burgers (pdf)  - (from Michelle Hauser)
  3.  Tofu with Gingered Greens - (from Sabrina)
