Combining Disparate Data in a Risk Assessment of Acute Inhalation Exposures

Raymond J. Carroll, Texas A&M University

We will present our work on marginal (classical and robust) and random effects analysis of a risk assessment to acute inhalation exposures of PERC. The data come from many small studies, and include observations on mice, rats and humans. Difficulties in defining endpoints are described. An Splus program was written to implement the methods.

This is joint work with Douglas G. Simpson, Mixge Xie and Daniel Guth.
