The asymptotics of the spectral transform for an integrable dispersive system of ODEs in the semiclassical limit gives rise to discrete WKB analysis of a vector recursion relation. Naive asymptotic results are confirmed by means of their application to the limit of the ODE system, rigorous aymptotic results, and numerical calculations.
