A Massively Parallel Reservoir Simulator for Large Scale Reservoir

A Massively Parallel Reservoir Simulator has been developed
and fully integrated into a pre and post processing graphical
environment.The simulator has been used in simulating giant
oil fields using millions of grid points. Runs indicate near
linear scale up performance with the increasing number of
processors. The mega cell description provides detailed picture
of the reservoir where the by passed oil pockets can be identified.
With the current capabilities construction, running and analyzing
the results is very fast.
