interested in the 2011 PI
Summer Program. While the program is primarily for students at
IMA
Participating Institutions, applications from other
Universities (US and
abroad) will be considered as funding and logistical
constraints allow.
A student from an IMA Participating Institution should select
his/her institution on the
application form and arrange for
(1) a personal statement/letter describing background and
reasons for wanting to attend;
(2) a letter of nomination from his/her Ph.D. advisor.

A student from an institution that is not an IMA Participating
Institution should select "Other" as the institution and provide two letters via e-mail to

One letter is from the student describing his/her background and reasons for wanting to attend. The other is a letter of nomination from the student's major professor, director of graduate studies, or department chair.
