The IMA Annual Program for 2002-03 was Optimization.
The IMA Annual Program
for 2003-04 is 2003-4 Probability
and Statistics in Complex Systems: Genomics, Networks, and Financial Engineering.
Below, we list the workshops and tutorials that took place during the fall quarter
of this program.
Winter Quarter 2004: Communication Networks
In addition to the workshops
in the annual program, the IMA held one "Hot Topics" workshop during Fall Quarter
2003.
The 2003 summer program consisted
of launching the 2 new directions programs: visiting professorships and
short course. The programs offer extraordinary opportunities for the established
mathematicians to branch into new directions and increase the impact of their
research.
