New affiliates and Board membersCarnegie Mellon University, Rutgers University, and the Air Force Research Laboratory have joined the IMA as Participating Institutions. Medtronic has joined the IMA as a Participating Corporation. Roy Nicolaides is the IMA Participating Institutions Council (PIC) representative for Carnegie Mellon; Richard Falk represents Rutgers on the PIC. Gregory Arnold and Suping Lyu are the Air Force Research Laboratory and Medtronic representatives on the Industrial Advisory Board.
The following distinguished scientists were elected to join the IMA
Board of Governors, effective January 2006: Robert Kohn (Courant Institute) will serve as chair of the Board of Governors in the coming year. Philippe Tondeur completes his term on the Board of Governors, and as chair of the Board, this year. We thank him for his exceptional service to the IMA. |
