This gathering of women in mathematics at this workshop will be a powerful experience for all. In this introduction I will suggest some techniques and practices that would increase and extend the benefits of the workshop. At the conclusion, we will have increased our network of colleagues, developed and practiced new skills and will be ready for our next challenge.
