We have few users license for tecplot, an interactive plotting program for visualization and analysis of data. Documentation is located in /ima/opt/Tecplot/doc, in the form of PDF files readable in acroread. Also, at http://www.msi.umn.edu/software/tecplot/tutorial/, MSI has placed a useful tutorial for their users.

Another package for the scientific visualization installed on our SGIs is AVS 5.3. Documentation on AVS is available from the system administrators, or in /usr/avs online.

Also, we have the IDL for our Linux Workstation. See idlhelp for the help and idldemo for the demo.
