We have two different wireless connections. One is IMA for IMA internal use. The other will be IMA-Wireless for workshop visitors. To use IMA, each user has to register their wireless MAC and setup a SSID and WEP key. Please contact IMA System Staff for IMA.
For IMA-Wireless, each user should select IMA-Wireless from Available Networks then run any web browser. Each user will be asked to enter their IMA login ID and password to authenticate. After successful authentication, you will be connected to internet within 5 seconds. Please don't block popup windows from www.ima.umn.edu. Current coverage areas are 4th floor Lind Hall, 2nd and 3rd floor Skyway Offices, and EE/CS 3-176 and 3-180 area.
