Compact Flash (CF Card), SmartMedia, Sony Memory Stick, IBM Microdrive, MultiMedia Card,
and Secure Digital memory cards can be accessed on linux workstations with a USB card reader.
To read the card, insert it into the reader and mount the drive with the command: mount /cf.
If the drive fails to mount, try unplugging the USB reader from the computer and reconnecting it.
You can then use standard unix commands to access files on the card. To safely sync and
unmount the card, use the command: eject /cf and then remove the card from the reader.
In Windows system, to read the card, insert it into the USB reader and navigate to
``My Computer.''
