Abstract

The link structure of a hypermedia environment can be a rich source of information about the content of the environment, provided we have effective means for understanding it. This talk will survey settings in which an analysis of the underlying link structure has proved to be effective; we will also discuss connections between these analysis methods and some basic combinatorial and spectral properties of link structures.
