Mathematical Aspects of Knowledge Networking
George Cybenko, Dartmouth
Abstract
To quote from the KDI program announcement,
"Knowledge Networking (KN) focuses on the
integration of knowledge from different sources and
domains across space and time." This overview will survey
aspects related to the quantitative representation of information
and knowledge as well as what it means to integrate them over
space and time and how such integrations can be supported
by mathemtics and mathematical models.
