Nonlinear Inverse Problems and Emission Tomography

Mathematical results on the convergence of standard regularization methods (Tikh onov, iteration methods) for nonlinear inverse problems can only be obtained under strong assumptions on the underlying operator. The aim of this talk is to discuss the applicability of these methods for emission tomography.
