Talk abstract:
Monotonicity formulas and regularity of two-phase free boundary
problems

We will discuss monotonicity formulas involving functions
with disjoint support. We will concentrate on recent results
for solutions to parabolic problems (joint with L.Caffarelli),
and for solutions to Poisson equations (joint with L.Caffarelli
and D.Jerison), with applications to free boundary problems
arising in fluid flows.
