|David Chock obtained his undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1965 and his Ph.D. degree in chemical physics from the University of Chicago in 1968. Most recently, Chock has turned his attention to understanding the influence of automotive emissions on global climate change. He has served on numerous governmental advisory committees dealing with air quality
Chock began his involvement at the IMA began in 1992 when he attended his first workshop at the institute.
