|Dana Randall is the ADVANCE professor of computing, a professor in the School of Computer Science, and an adjunct professor in the School of Mathematics. She received her Ph.D. degree from the University of California-Berkeley in computer science and her A.B. degree in mathematics from Harvard University. Her research areas include randomized algorithms, Markov chain Monte Carlo, computational problems from statistical physics, and combinatorics.
Randall began her involvement at the IMA in 2010 when she joined the IMA’s Board of Governors.
