We will review some recent results concerning spatial analyticity of solutions of the Navier-Stokes system. More particularly, we will be interested in estimating the size of the analyticity domain in terms of the physical parameters and address implications related to the minimal scale, decay of the Fourier spectrum, and the size of nodal sets.
