Coupled nonlinear oscillators that lead to oscillations where one oscillator oscillates with a multiple of the frequency of the other oscillators are analyzed. Systems with n identical and symmetrically coupled oscillators lead to oscillations with an n-1 fold frequency. Systems with n identical oscillators coupled symmetrically to one different one lead to oscillations with n-fold frequency.
