Application Form for IMA Industrial Postdoctoral Fellowships

IMA INDUSTRIAL POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS are designed to prepare mathematicians for research careers in industry or involving industrial interaction. IMA industrial postdoctoral fellowships run two years starting August 31, 2009. They are funded jointly by the IMA and an industrial sponsor, and holders devote 50% effort to their own research and the IMA program and 50% effort working with industrial scientists. Industrial postdoctoral fellows receive a salary of $50,000 annually, and a travel allowance. Documentation of completion of all requirements for a doctoral degree in mathematics or a related area is required by the start of the appointment and within the last three years.
