Mathematical results for some models of chemotaxis

In this talk, I shall review recent joint work with J.J.L.Velazquez and E. Medina on the asymptotic behaviour of solutions to some reaction-diffusion systems modeling chemotaxis. Particular attention will be paid to mechanisms corresponding to chemotactic collapse, by means of which solutions focus in finite time into a multiple of a Dirac mass.
