A Polynomial Module Approach to Linear Systems Theory

The talk will give a brief outline of the polynomial approach to linear systems developed by the author over the last quarter of a century. Polynomial models, (doubly) coprime factorizations and their associated shift realizations, duality, factorization theory as related to geometric control theory will be some of the topics discussed.
