Fadil Santosa is a professor of mathematics at the University of Minnesota’s School of Mathematics. He served as director of the IMA from 2008 - 2015. Now as director emeritus, he has taken on the additional role of director of special projects and is responsible for building new industrial relationships and sustaining existing partnerships. In addition, he supports program development and postdoc recruitment.
His research interests are in inverse problems, optics, photonics, and optimal design.
