Simple FMM libraries for electrostatics, elastostatics<br/><br/>and frequency-domain wave propagation

We have developed new versions of the FMM in three dimensions for both static and dynamic problems that are reasonably efficient, easy to implement, and fully adaptive. By combining these schemes with suitable quadrature codes, we have constructed triangle-based libraries for layer potentials that permit
the rapid deployment of robust integral equation solvers in complex geometry. We will describe some of
the core algorithmic ideas as well as some applications in electrodynamics and acoustics. This is joint work with Zydrunas Gimbutas.
