Q: Do I need to bring linens or a pillow?
A: Your room will be furnished (including bedding)
Q. Can you think of anything I may need to bring for the
weather?
A. You may want to bring an umbrella, as it is the rainy
season.
Q: Will we be sharing rooms?
A: Yes, students will be housed two people per room.
Mentors/Organizers have single rooms.
Q:Are there laundry facilities?
A: Yes, please ask someone at the reception desk for service
Q. Will there be vegetarian meal options?
A: Yes there will be vegetarians options as well. If you are a
vegan, please email me immediately if you have not done so
already. I will inform the CIMAT staff.
Q. Are there microwaves available?
A. Yes, there will be microwave access at CIMATEL. CIMAT has
several microwaves to be used for the visitors as well.
Q: Will I need money during my visit?
A: You will want to bring some spending money. CIMAT is
providing meals. There is a convenient store just in front of
your housing locations for refreshments.
Q: Will there be computer/Internet access?
A: Yes, you will receive a computer account to access CIMAT's
computers and Internet. You will also have library access.
Q: How will I know where the shuttle is?
A: The airport is small. Meet the CIMAT shuttle just outside of
the international arrival door to the side of the taxi area.
The shuttle will have the CIMAT Logo on the side ( see below),
and the driver will also carry the logo.
