Brief Course Description

• This is the first semester of a two semester course in one-variable calculus pitched to budding engineers.
• Textbook: Calculus, 5th edition, by James Stewart.
•  We will cover roughly the first 6 chapters:
• 1. Functions and Models
• 2. Limits and Derivatives
• 3. Differentiation Rules
• 4. Applications of Differentiation
• 5. Integrals
• 6. Applications of Integration

Homework Assignments     Note: The list of homework for the week of Sept 15-19 should also include  the problems   Sec 3.3: 3, 10, 16, 18.
